Well, when a wallpaper is deleted, you should get a notice that tells you the reason for why... if you didn't get one though, maybe it was a mistake? (AP has had times in the past where wallpapers or scans have gotten deleted when they weren't supposed to be)
So yeah, if you didn't get a notice, you should definitely ask one of the AP moderators about it.
